2008 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (St. Helena AVA)
Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship wine of Think Tank Wine Company.
For this Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes were harvested and crushed on October 30, 2008, and then cold-soaked three days to promote maximum color and flavor extraction. After fermentation, the wine was pressed into a combination of new and used French oak barrels and allowed to age for 19 months prior to bottling.

2009 Carriage Vineyards Grenache Rosé (Paso Robles AVA)
When we decided to make a rosé wine, we wanted to craft a wine in the style of the great rosés from the south of France. Our rosé is made from 100% Grenache Noir grapes sourced from Carriage Vineyards, a sustainably farmed site in the Paso Robles AVA. Following a long, dry growing season, the grapes were de-stemmed and cold-soaked for several days prior to fermentation in stainless steel tanks. A small portion of juice was reserved for barrel fermentation to give the wine a bit more structure and complexity.

2008 Syrah White Hawk Vineyard (Santa Barbara AVA)
One of the most highly regarded sites in Santa Barbara County, White Hawk Vineyard’s soil and climate are ideal for the production of World-class Syrah grapes. The vineyard is committed to using sustainable viticulture methods. After a long, dry growing season, the 2008 harvest occurred in early-October. Following fermentation with native yeasts, the wine was aged in both new and used French oak barrels for 17 months before bottling.

2008 Pinot Noir, La Encantada Vineyard
La Encantada Vineyard, the first certified organic site in Santa Barbara, was planted in 2000 by Richard Sanford, the “Godfather” of Pinot Noir. It is located on the cooler western edge of the A.V.A, and is often blanketed by fog, which curtails vine vigor and results in intensely flavored grapes. In 2008, extreme temperatures in the vineyard limited the amount of fruit per vine and resulted in Pinot Noir grapes of very high quality. Cold-soaked four days prior to fermentation with native yeasts, the wine was aged for ten months in both new and used French oak barrels. The wine spent an additional six months maturing in the bottle before being released on March 1, 2010.
